ABOUT DHPS 
Diesel Engine Parts, Inc. does business under the “DHPS” acronym which is based on the founding name of the company, Diesel Head and Parts Service.
DHPS was founded in 1974 by CEO Richard Emert as a remanufacturer of diesel cylinder heads. Richard applied his knowledge gained in the US Army, and in working in the HD Industry, to refining the “Fusion” welding process for remanufacturing badly damaged diesel cylinder heads. Using “parent” cast iron alloys, which are smelted from similar un-repairable head castings, even severely damaged heads can be repaired to like new condition.
Under the direction of President Paul Blizzard, DHPS has expanded into the design and manufacturing of new engine components, the finish machining of new cylinder head and block castings, the distribution of related engine components, and complete supply chain management of diesel engine remanufacturing for commercial and military customers around the world.
